Postpartum Doula

What's a Postpartum

Doula? Who Benefits?

Postpartum doulas provide familial support in the postnatal period. This includes emotional support, physical recovery from childbirth, and coping skills for new parents. They might also help with light housework, bring a meal or pickup groceries, or stay nights to aid in a smoother transition.

Benefits of a Postpartum Doula?

Postpartum doulas focus on “mothering the mother” by ensuring the mother receives proper nutrition and rest so that she can heal. They are a companion who can listen to the mother, provide options, resources and referrals, helping to reduce feelings of anxiety, stress, and isolation.

If you desire postpartum support only, please message me. We will come up with a plan to best fit your individual needs. Starting at $35+ hourly. At this time, postpartum and night care is available on a very limited basis. If I cannot help, I will point you in the direction of other wonderful postpartum doulas in the area.
